The Puget Sound Business Journal published an article today co-written by Farayi Chiro is president of the Small Business Partnership for Prosperity and the founder and CEO of MasikaTech, a Seattle-based management and technology consulting firm. Bert Sugayan is the economic development director for the Small Business Partnership for Prosperity and a founder and managing director of Free Vector Advisors, a Seattle-based consultancy. Article makes a case that women- and minority-owned business enterprises may lead the economic recovery in the Greater Seattle region. The article references the recent conference sponsored by the SBPP and the concept of a women and minority owned business cooperative referenced in an earlier post.
